5 Tips for Glowing Skin

Water drinking tracker for iphone

Drink drink drink! Just water of course...
I used to think I drank a good amount of water, until I actually started to consume the recommended amount of 2 litres a day and I honestly feel so much better for it! It can be a daunting task at first, especially if you're not used to it - a cute water bottle always helps! Us humans are 60-70% water, we should probably replenish that and nourish our bodies! I even downloaded a handy app to make sure I'm hitting my goal every day.

Go plant based!
If that's too scary for you right now, at least try and cut out dairy. It's one of the first things I did on this journey and it improved my skin no end. I used to get terrible spots and then terrible marks to match,  now I only get a couple of spots every now and then and they clear up so much faster. I tried creams and natural remedies, but nothing had the same effect as no dairy. Now going mostly plant based, I see my skin get brighter every day with every nutrient it consumes.

No make up days!
Sometimes this can be hard, even though my skin is improving I am no way confident enough to go to work bare faced. To combat this I have recently been using less foundation and more bb cremes and tinted moisturisers. I've also been avoiding going too heavy with my other make up products, I haven't touched the bronzer in weeks! It also makes it feel more exciting when you do have a day to go full faced with your make up! Try and leave at least one day a week where you are able to let your skin completely breathe!

Getting rest sleep for glowing skin

I can not stress how important this is, especially for my skin. If I don't get at least 8 hours of sleep my face lets me know about it. My eye bags become outrageous and my skin feels terrible. Who doesn't feel all round amazing when they get more sleep anyway? There are no downsides!

At Christmas I was gifted pretty much the entire Liz Earle skin care range and my goodness is my skin pleased about that. I've used every product every day and my skin is so soft and so bright as a result of it. Cleanse, tone and moisturise every day, twice a day!
