Holy Grail Make Up

cruelty free make up

Nars - Foundation & Concealer
Too Faced - Bronzer & Mascara
Urban Decay - Naked palette; Naked Basics 2; Setting Spray
Becca - Opal Glow on-the-go
Sleek - Blush palette

As it turns out 90% of the make up I've been lusting after recently is cruelty free, so there was literally no reason not to buy it all. I understand that a vegan diet can be difficult to adapt to, but with cruelty free make up I really don't see the issue.

The brands I gravitate towards have such amazing products that you probably own one or two yourself already. I feel as though literally all of these items speak for themselves, where have you been if you haven't realised that Urban Decay eyeshadows are great and Nars sheer glow is the bees knees? It's such a typical make up bag, but that's kinda the point. You don't have to sacrifice a fab face to go cruelty free.

The only one of these products I'm not crazy about is the sleek blush, I wanted to delve into cream blushes but I stuck with an affordable one in case I didn't like it. Turns out I love the effect a matte cream blush gives, so much more natural than swiping pink glitter across your cheeks. The Sleek blush is a great product if you're on a budget, but I'd love to venture into some more mid-high end options. So, if you can help a sista out...

I haven't gone full vegan with my make up and honestly, I don't think I will. But I do think it's important to make the changes you think you can, every little helps.

Oh, and there's the issue of parent companies... but thats for another day.
